The Bee and the Iris This photo was taken northern Okinawa, Japan MAR 28, 2012 late in the morning. The iris fields are not quite ready for the annual Iris Festival but, this little bee was doing his part in the pollination process. Before long, the fields will look like a sea of purple flowers.
